Hi Everyone

We hope your year has gotten off to a great start and you have managed to stick with all those news years resolutions.

We have picked up from where we left off in the Honeydew Settlement and our sterilization and education campaign is going well! We have only been back for two weeks and have already sterilized 38 animals from the settlement so far.

This is a heart-warming picture of one of the residents in Honeydew. We helped him sterilize, vaccinate and deworm his two beautiful kittens.

Unfortunately not all the work we do has happy endings and just this week we experienced two very sad cases. The dog in this picture was hit by a car in Honeydew. Christopher was notified and he rushed the dog to our Vet. Sadly his injuries were too severe as he was paralysed in his back legs and he had to be euthanized.

The second case involved a dog that had been electrocuted.  He too was taken to the vet but succumbed to his injuries and passed away.  Please, please always try to stop animal abuse.

We rely entirely on the kindness of people like you. Please continue making donations, as your generosity will resonate forever in the lives of the people we help. We are having another Vaccination Day on the 15th of February and any donations are welcome for this worthy cause. THANK YOU!!

Valentine’s Day is fast approaching.  Why not sponsor a sterilization for one of the Honeydew Squatter Camp animals. In return we will send you a certificate. Should you wish to make this donation in someone else’s name, the certificate will be addressed accordingly.  Sterilization helps eradicate the over-population and reduce the number of unwanted animals that end up in shelters as there are not enough homes.
